Story

I grew up in the kitchen. My father, a former chef, cooked all the time and taught me well. His cooking was one of the main reasons our front door was always banging open with friends popping by.

Years later, I found myself at a food convention surrounded by "better-for-you" snacks that were trying too hard. Protein-packed everything. Ingredients I couldn't pronounce. Snacks engineered in labs rather than kitchens.

I kept thinking about the popcorn I'd make at home. Simple. Whole grain. A blank canvas for flavor that my wife and friends would gather around. Nothing fancy, just real food with interesting seasonings.

I made the first batch and dropped them off with a dozen friends and a simple survey. They loved it.

So CULT CORN was born.

WHY "CULT"?

Not because we want blind followers, but because we believe in the power of gathering. The original meaning of "cult" comes from "cultivate"—to grow, to nurture, to bring together.

In a world where everyone's drinking less but still craving social rituals, we wanted to create something you could bring to a friend's house that said "I thought about you" without imposing. Something light enough to not disrupt dinner plans but interesting enough to spark conversation.

OUR BELIEFS

  • Real food doesn't need to be reinvented, just respected
  • The best flavors aren't created in boardrooms
  • A simple meal shared is better than a perfect meal alone
  • Gathering should be easy, not an event that requires planning
  • Clean ingredients aren't a luxury, they're a baseline

THE INVITATION

CULT CORN isn't just a snack company. It's an invitation to gather more often. To host friends without pressure. To bring something special to someone's home without complication.

Use our popcorn as an excuse to spend more time with people you like.

Join us.

Yours,
Leader
